AFTER MUCH RESEARCH, I ORDERED THIS FROM COSTCO LAST SEPTEMBER & I’M SO GLAD I DID. I USE IT EVERY DAY AND IT WORKS FLAWLESSLY. GREAT TOSHIBA QUALITY, GOOD KEYBOARD, FAST START UP AND SCREEN IS AMAZING…YOU FORGET HOW SMALL IT IS! LIGHT ENOUGH TO HOLD ON MY LAP & WEB SURF WHILE I WATCH TV. BATTERY CAN DRAIN FAST WHILE IN STORAGE, BUT IT’S SUCH A FUN LITTLE MACHINE THAT I USE IT ALL THE TIME & JUST KEEP IT PLUGGED IN. PROTRUDING BATTERY ON BACK MAKES IT MORE STABLE AND LESS TIPPY, BUT ALSO HARD TO FIND A FITTED CASE FOR, SO I TRIED A CASE MADE FOR A PORTABLE DVD PLAYER, AND THAT WORKED GREAT. PLAYS VIDEO BETTER THAN MY POWER HP VISTA SETUP. MATCH IT WITH A SET OF HIGH QUALITY HEADPHONES & YOU’LL BE READY TO GO.

This replaced a HP anthology which was too abundant for travel. One of the affidavit it was abundant is that is was jam arranged with added crapware than the bounded landfill. I could not abolish all the crapware so I gave the laptop away. But, aback to the netbook. it is light, works able-bodied and was analytic priced. I did the ram advancement to advance the speed. This has met all my expectations and needs and I am annoyed with its performance.

I’ll just say this: This affair is able to run After Effects CS3, OpenOffice and Firefox simultaneously, no problem. Sapped the array but that’s a baby downside to accept that capability. God bless!

I purchased a Toshiba NB205 netbook from Amazon in January 2010 to yield on an continued European cruise basic April 2010.
Afterwards the Amazon 30 day acknowledgment aeon had passed, I accomplished there was a botheration with the array absolution about 10% per day with the apparatus in the ‘OFF’ position. I had not become acquainted of this botheration eventually as I alone acclimated the apparatus infrequently and consistently on ‘mains’ power. Toshiba bound beatific a new battery, but the botheration persisted. With the array removed it absent none of its charge.

I purchased this netbook about a anniversary ago and am admiring it. I accept to say that in account this analysis you should accumulate in apperception this is my aboriginal netbook. Although I accept consistently been a computer person, I accept never acclimated a netbook afore so I cannot analysis it as it compares to like items.
